I made several stops at in-city parks this morning, looking for early temperate migrants, with some success. I stopped at Innis Park & Woodward Park in north Columbus (along with nearby Woodmark Lake in Gahanna), then hiked around Sharon Woods MetroPark. Despite visiting several ponds, waterfowl pickings were slim, suggesting many have moved north. Early landbirds are starting to move, however. Notables included:

Diving Ducks- scarce, but there were a few L.Scaup on Woodmark lake and 20 Ring-necked Ducks at Shrock Lake in Sharon Woods
Cooper's Hawks - displaying and territorial birds were at Innis, Woodward, and Sharon Woods
Red-shouldered Hawks - calling birds were at Woodmark and Ferris Rd (near Innis)
E.Phoebe - the only one was foraging in the north meadow at Sharon Woods
Tree Swallows - 6 were fly-catching over Shrock Lake in Sharon Woods
BrownCreepers - still scarce, with only a single bird, at Sharon Woods
Golden-cr.Kinglets - small numbers at several stops, topped by 3 at Sharon Woods
BrownThrashers - singing birds were at Innis Park and along the Thomas Trail at Sharon Woods
Yellow-rumped Warblers - singles at several stops, but Sharon Woods had 4-5 along the Thomas Trail
E.Towhees - birds at most stops, topped by 3 at Sharon Woods
Fox Sparrows - 1 was singing at Innis, but 5 were in the forest patch at Woodward.
White-throated Sparrows - small flocks at many locations
blackbirds- Redwings, Grackles, & cowbirds were widespread, with the grackles often in 20-40-bird flocks. No Rusties.
