I went to Kiwanis Riverway Park in Dublin (which Steve Jones recently mentioned) last night around 7:30 PM hoping to see the Screech Owl Irina found. No owl, but I flushed one Woodcock from the side of the paved path near the split, just a few yards from the parking lot. About 20 minutes later I heard one calling from the boardwalk area near the feeders. I'm pretty sure that there were two separate birds, which is great to see in the middle of Dublin!

There have also been streams of Turkey Vultures moving along the Scioto in groups of 20 or more the past two evenings; I've seen them from Thaddeus Kosciuszko Park and from the Fishinger Road bridge area.
