I visited the flooded field behind Russell's Point today to see what was
there, and was shocked in two different ways.... The field barely had any
water left, but a lot of waterfowl. ( Remember the number of birds seen is
estimated !)

Mallard- 30
Canada Goose-10
Green Teal- 15
Blue Teal- 15
American Widgon- 20
Ross Goose X Hybrid- 2
Scalp- G ( 3 ) L (2)
Redhead- 10
Gadwall- 10
Pintail- 5
EURASIAN WIGEON- 1 male

Then we visited the state park to try to see the Sandhill crane best; no
luck. But with cool birds on trails.

R W Blackbirds: 10
Cardinals: 5
Chickadee: 5
Wood Ducks: 4
BARRED OWL: 1; calling not seen >:-(
Also Loons and swallows around the lake aswell
