Sorry for the late post - I had an incorrect listserv email in my address
book.
---------
The weather mostly cooperated (windy w/ a bit of rain) for me during a late
morning walk around the Lorain Impoundments and nearby harbor walkway.
Highlights:
Short-eared Owl (circled overhead for a bit over the marshy area and
departed due west)
Northern Harrier (female)
Eastern Meadowlark (2)
Northern Flicker
Numerous Sparrows (many Song and I managed to spot some Chipping, Field, and
Swamp mixed in)
Good duck showing including nice numbers of Scaup, Redheads, N Shovelers &
Bufflehead. I spotted only a couple
Canvasback, C Goldeneye, and a single Ring-necked in the lot.
