I visited several spots around these 2 Parks south of Columbus this morning, starting around the Confluence area of 3-creeks, and working south to several areas of Walnut Woods and nearby Bareis Nature Preserve. Despite the cold overcast weather, it didn't appear to be a fallout morning, with only modest numbers of migrants, many of which were temperate migrants. Notables included:

ducks - 18 Blue-winged Teal & 6 N.Shovelers were in the field pond along Richardson Rd near Walnut Woods
Ospreys - fly-bys were at 3-Creeks and the Buckeye section of Walnut Woods
Yellowlegs - 4 Lessers were in the wetlands of Walnut Woods
Warbling Vireos - singing birds at 3 different locations in 3-Creeks Park
White-eyed Vireo - 1 was calling along the Confluence Trail in 3-Creeks
Gnatcatchers - numerous, perhaps the most common migrant of the morning
House Wrens - widespread, with individuals singing at many locations
Kinglets - Ruby-cr. were widespread, but 2 Golden-cr. were still in the fir copses at Walnut Woods
HermitThrush - singles at Bareis Preserve & the Tall Pines area of Walnut Woods
Brown Thrashers - singing birds at several spots in 3-Vreeks as well as at Bareis Preserve
Parula Warblers - singing birds at 2 spots in 3-Creeks
Yellow Warblers - 2 singing in Bareis Preserve, a regular breeding location
Yellow-thr.Warblers - widespread in 3-Creeks
Yellow-rumped Warblers - 1-2 at several different locations, but no big numbers anywhere
Field Sparrows - many pairs in open areas, especially at Walnut Woods and Bareis Preserve
White-thr.Sparrows - small flocks at several areas, mostly at 3-Creeks Park
Orchard oriole - a male was foraging along Big Walnut Creek at the Confluence area of 3-Creeks
