Checked out Glacier Ridge MetroPark (western Dublin, NW of Columbus) this afternoon, stopping at the northern circuit of the Multi-Use Path and also at the wetlands. The overcast plus the cold N wind made for almost-wintry conditions, so perhaps it wasn't surprising that the birds were almost all residents and temperate migrants. Notables included:

ducks - the wetlands had small flocks of Mallards, N.Shovelers, and Blue-winged Teal. Lake Corazon had only a few Mallards.
Other waterfowl - a few Pied-billed Grebes and 10 Coots were also at the wetland.
raptors - a pair of Red-tails was over the woodlot west of the windmill, while kestrels were at the wetland & along Brock Rd.
BrownCreeper - 1 was still around, foraging in the woodlot south of the windmill
swallows - hardly any except for a few Barns & Trees at the wetlands
Gnatcatchers - still the most common 'migrant', with a few in nearly every woodlot I stopped at
warblers - nothing, but scattered yellow-rumps
White-throated Sparrows - small flocks were along edges of several woodlots in the area
E.Meadowlarks - abundant, with 3-4 singing in each field in the park; there were even 5 at the wetland
Rusty Blackbird - 1 late bird was singing by one of the vernal pools in the woodlot west of the windmill
