Heard an eastern phoebe a few days ago but got to hear and see one this morning on South Bass Island. Saw chipping sparrows today also. Groups of 20 to thirty turkey vultures in trees at various locations on the island.  Looking more like spring all the time even with the ice still floating here and there!
