Ben Morrison currently reports a Red-throated Loon, 4 White-winged Scoters, a Surf Scoter, and 16 Long-tailed Duck among many waterfowl at the Berlin Lake Bike Trail in Portage County. The trailhead is on Rt 224 in Portage County just west of where the Rt 224 causeway crosses Berlin Lake and crosses into Mahoning County. Much of the action is about a 3/4 mile hike south on the bike trail from Rt 224. Scope is highly recommended.Kent Miller
