Ah robins. They don't have the most beautiful plumage in their family like the bluebirds. They don't have beautiful voices like all the other thrushes. They aren't fussy and take over everywhere and what their songs lack in beauty is made up for in its  almost never ending warm weather presence. Every time I think about picking up a slingshot or buying a BB gun, which is every waking moment of spring and summer, I am reminded of the immortal words of Monty Python " All things dull and ugly the Lord God made them all." God as usual has much to answer for and He aint saying anything.
