Hello Birders,
This afternoon while doing an archaeological dig at Fort Steuben in downtown Steubenville, OH, I had a Common Raven fly right by. I was fortunate enough that he started soaring above the town long enough for me to get a picture.
This is the fourth sighting of a Common Raven I have had in Jefferson Co since last November. They sure seem to be doing well in the area, as I am a college student and I didn't make it off of campus much. I would say I saw them 1 in 5 times I went off campus since last November.
The picture is linked below as is a map that has the exact raven sighting locations.
