I stopped by this southern Delaware County park and helped out with their BioBlitz this afternoon. The event runs through tomorrow noon, so if you want to bird with a purpose, this would be a great place to go in the morning. Other birders had hustled up some neat things already, with a pair of Hermit Thrushes and both waterthrushes topping the list. I was still able to scratch up a good list just working the area around the upland fields & branch ravines near US 23, finding

4 flycatchers - Rewee, Acadian, GreatCrested, and E.Kingbird
several Red-eyed Vireos
2 Thrushes - Wood & Swainson's
4 warblers - Chesnut-sided, Redstart, Com.Yellowthroat, La.Waterthrush
5 sparrows - E.Towhee, Chipping, Field, Song, White-throated
Summer Tanager, Rose-br.Grosbeak, and several Indigo Buntings

The area was also rich with wildflowers, and not bad for bugs as well, with 6 butterfly species, 4-5 beetles, and several dragonflies, with just cursory searching. Hopefully more dedicated searchers will expand these lists tomorrow.
