Yellow Warblers were numerous at Lake Erie Bluffs this morning (Lake County Metroparks). Gray Catbirds have now joined the Brown Thrashers that have been singing there for at least a week. Also present were Blue-gray Gnatcatchers, Ruby-crowned Kinglets,
and an Orchard Oriole. Lisle Merriman noted flock after flock of Blue Jays flying from west to east along the lake shore through out the morning. This was the first time I’ve seen Blue Jay migration.
