Hello Everybody: Just a quick reminder. The 9th annual Bobolink & Butterfly Festival, at Byers Woods, is taking place on Saturday, June 27th from 9AM to 1:00PM. Byers Woods is a very unique grasslands and woods habitat. It was once the Ashland County Landfill, that has been recovered to provide vital habitat for grasslands species. This event is co-sponsored by the Greater Mohican Audubon Society and the Ashland County Park District. Byers Woods is located on Co. Rd. 1754, east of ST RT 60, south of Ashland, Ohio. It should be noted RT 30 is about 1 mile south of the site. This event is family-oriented, easy terrain, interesting and rewarding for nature-lovers and bird-watchers of all experience levels. Of course, the star of the event is the beautiful and fascinating Bobolink. Please come and join us. Don Plant, 419-606-7011
