Thanks to the recent posters (on Ohio-birds and Facebook) we saw several
male and female dickcissels
up close today on Wecht Rd.  Life bird #355 for us.  also saw many Savannah
sparrows and a few bobolinks,
plus gorgeous Wayne County countryside.  I'm guessing this is an unusual
nesting spot for these
"western Ohio" birds.
