A beautiful morning for the Firecracker 40 at West Creek Reservation in Parma, Ohio. We exceeded our target of 40 species, tallying 45 during our walk. Highlights included Eastern Kingbird, nesting Red-headed Woodpeckers, a singing Carolina Wren and some very active Cedar Waxwings providing great, close up looks. The star of the show however was a pair of Black Vultures soaring along with 4 Turkey Vultures. A good time with a wonderful group of people.
