I checked several parks along Walnut Creek in Gahanna (NE suburb of Columbus) over the last 2 days and have seen the glimmers of migration. Included among the suspect migrants were:
ChimneySwifts - a flock of 110 descended into the Sanctuary Church chimney in old Gahanna yesterday eve
Hummingbirds - 3+ have been fighting at our feeders, and others have been around flowers in the parks
Flycatchers - misplaced Willow was along Ridenour Rd today, and lots of Pewees on both days. 2 E.Kingbirds were along the creek yesterday; they don't breed around here.
Gnatcatchers - 2-3 were in several areas of the parks, an uptick from the summer numbers
Warblers - an immature Tennessee was along Ridenour Rd this morning, a definite migrant
