AUGUST 08, 2015 - Monthly Cuyahoga Valley Towpath Census.HIKE: Red Lock Trailhead south to Merriman Valley.TIME: 5:55am-3:20pm TEMP.: 64-84-81 COND.: Cloudy & pleasant from 5:55am-8:45am turning sunny & warmuntil 1:30pm; then turning partly cloudy to cloudy.TRAIL COND.: Dry & dusty. RIVER COND.: Very low, many rock & sandbars exposed.FT.MI.: 13.0 OBS.: John Henry & Douglas W. Vogus.I. MAMMALS: 8 SPECIES.

VII. MOTH (of note): 1 SPECIES.
   - A species of Dagger Moth I've never seen - (I am currently awaiting positive identification from photos taken)

VIII. WILDFLOWER (of note): 1 SPECIES.
   - Cardinal-Flower is in full-bloom.
