It is presently 3:20PM Wednesday afternoon on The Conneaut Sandspit. The non breeding plumaged Piping Plover previously reported by Sally Isacco is still present; constantly eluding the double whammy of the infamous Conneaut Port Authority tractor, and the notorious afternoon canines and their could care less about the resting birds, owners. Drivable access to The Sandspit Area is denied with the gate continuing to be closed. The good thing about having to walk out is the fact it does cut down on the number of sandspit intruders. The celebrity visitor is presently at the extreme east side of the sandspit. Most of The Sandspit is still under water and undrivable.
