I apologize for this very late posting.  I had no internet access on the weekend, and then I forgot about posting.  Bob Lane's post about the Piping Plover reminded me.  I made a brief stop at the sandspit on Saturday afternoon and my highlights were a Piping Plover and a Snowy Plover.  There was also a beautiful Ruddy Turnstone.
