With limited time, I figured that the Nature Center area would be well-covered, so I worked the area around the old Ranger Station and the Cherry Valley picnic area, as well as the nearby Streamside & Overlook Trail segments. I only had an hour, but the fallout here was also quite good early in the morning, though the larger trees made birding more challenging. The area around the Ranger Station was especially good, with lots of migrants dropping in during the early morning. It would make a good stop if you have limited time. Included in the fallout were:

Hummingbirds - 3-4 Ruby-throats
Flycatchers - Acadian, Phoebe, Great Crested, but NO Pewees
Vireos - 4-5 Red-eyed, 1 Yellow-throated
Wrens,Gnatcatchers - 2-3 House Wrens, 1 Gnatcatcher
Thrushes - 6-7 Swainson's (Had Wood Thrushes in Gahanna, but not at Blendon)
Warblers - 9 species, with Redstarts easily the most common (8-10), followed by Magnolias (4+) & Blackpolls (4). Also had Tennessee, Black-thr.Blues, Blackburnian, Bay-breasted, Black&White, ComYellowthroat. Lots of unidentified warblers darting around the treetops.
Icterids - flock of 120+ grackles flying south, plus 5-6 Redwings. No orioles.
Other migrants: Indigo Buntings, Scarlet Tanager
