21 bird species in 50 yards.
http://ebird.org/ebird/view/checklist?subID=S25068634

We walked at Letha House Park in Medina County and had the experience of
encountering a pod of birds as we began walking on the Great Horned Owl
Bridle Trail. Bird after bird appeared in the trees along the beginning of
the trail -- 21 species. It took us a long time to walk 50 yards. We
recorded 29 species on the 1.5 mile walk, but saw most of them at the
beginning of the walk.

This trail circles a restored wet prairie which is truly beautiful at this
time of year.
