I was there from about 5:30 - 6:15 pm this evening as well.  The red-necked phalarope was a very active forager.  Also present on the big sand spit that connects to the shore: 1 immature golden plover, 2 pectoral sandpipers, 6 least sandpipers, 14+ killdeer, 3 Caspian terns (1 immature) with 66 ring-billed gulls; 1 immature or female green winged teal with 12 mallards. A lone osprey flyby as well.

As good as Conneaut Harbor is for shorebirds, etc.  LaDue been darn good closer to home.
