Scott Huge and I were looking for the American Golden Plover near the
boathouse this evening when he said “Hey!  Is that a Merlin on that snag?”
By golly it was!  We trained our scopes on it for about 5 minutes before it
flew away, hastling a crow before it left the area heading west toward Rt.
44.

I had to leave but Scott eventually found the AG Plover about ¼ mile north
of the boathouse.
