With a few free hours this morning, I visited two parks along the Alum Creek corridor in NE Columbus - Tanager Woods (which is right on the Alum Creek Greenway) and nearby Sharon Woods MetroPark. Migrants were spotty, with lots of waxwings & thrushes, but relatively few warblers & vireos. Notables included:

Red-shouldered Hawks - the resident pair at Tanager Woods were active, with one perched along the creek, while the other called nearby
Yellow-billed Cuckoo - 1 along Alum Creek in Tanager Woods, a quite late date here
Hummingbirds - still quite a few around, patrolling flower patches in both parks
Flycatchers - noticeable slowdown, with only single Pewees & Phoebes at each park
Swallows,Swifts - no swallows, but 1-2 swifts over each park
Thrushes - Swainson's were abundant, with 8 at TW and 10+ at SW. SharonWoods also had a Veery.
Mimids - Catbirds were still common at both parks. TanagerWoods still had a Brown Thrasher.
Waxwings - plenty of small flocks along the creek and around Shrock Lake (where they appear to roost).
Vireos - still a singing Warbling around Shrock Lake, while Red-eyed were in both parks
Warblers - hard to find, but did have Magnolia, CapeMays, Yellow-rumped (FOS, at Shrock Lake), Blackpolls, Black&Whites, AmRedstarts, ComYellowthroats
Icterids - small #s of Redwings & Grackles, but nothing unusual. No lingering orioles at Shrock Lake.
