On our little lake, I saw what I thought might be a swan surrounded by 50
or more Canadian Geese. The curious thing to me was that this bird had an
orange bill while Sibley's had most of the swans with black bills. Then I
found on Merlin app a listing for snow goose that said snow geese have the
orange/pink bill and sometimes are solitary among flocks of canadian
geese... so there you have it!
