I was at Sims Park on Lakeshore Blvd in Euclid (Cuyahoga County) today from 3:15 to 4:30pm. There were two female Black Scoters far east of the pier actively feeding. After awhile they floated just north of the pier a couple hundred feet and eventually flew off to the west at 3:45pm. Only a small number of Red-breasted Mergansers (50 or so) with most taking off just as I arrived. Also seen small number of Bonaparte's Gulls 15, Cormorants 10, Yellow-rumped Warblers 10, Golden-crowned Kinglets 12, Ruby-crowned Kinglets 2, Northern Mockingbird 1, only a few White-throated Sparrows, Juncos 7-8, many Blue Jays etc etc.
