A quick stop at the Spring Creek picnic area and trail yesterday afternoon found blustery weather, but migrants were still lurking in the fields and along the trail.  As befitted the colder weather, many of the notable migrants were temperate migrants.  Included among the haul in 45 minutes were:

Sharp-shinned Hawk
Sapsucker
Blue-headed Vireo
Brown Creepers (2-3)
Winter Wrens (3)
Ruby-cr.Kinglets (3)
Golden-cr.Kinglets (2)
Swainson'sThrush (5)
HermitThrush (1)
Orange-cr.Warbler - in the field near the intersection of the SpringCreekTrail and the Thomas Trail
Tennessee Warblers - at least 2 along field edge
Magnolia
Blackburnian
Black-thr.Greens (4)
Yellow-rumped - 6-8, most common warbler
AmRedstart (3)
ComYellowthroat
Lincoln'sSparrow
Field Sparrows
White-thr.Sparrows (6)
