Greetings,

I am doing some birding research on the Shaker Lakes.  There was a white
pelican on and off there from June-November, 1998.  That is just a
summary.  I have bird records and news stories which say more.  The strange
thing is that I personally remember a white pelican at Shaker Lakes in more
recent years. Stranger yet not one record or news item I have found so far
supports a white pelican at Shaker Lakes for any length of time after 1998.
Does anyone else remember one?  If truth be known, my memory isn't the
greatest.
