Adding to the Tundra Swans and friends sightings…
Laura Alldridge and I stopped at Miller Rd Park by the Avon Power Plant on Lake Rd in Lorain County this afternoon. Several Common Loons and Horned Grebes were present but were scattered and fairly far out, even with a scope. There may have been a few Black Scoters. Small lines of Red-breasted Merganser were moving, but at about 2pm a flock of 13 Tundra Swans flew past going east to west and included in the formation was a single white morph Snow Goose.
Cheers,
Rita Schneider
Franklin County
