While conditions continue to be ridiculously mild, and the 10 day forecast is dominated by SW winds, loons, grebes, Bonaparte's Gulls and some waterfowl are still staging offshore Cleveland's hotspots. The top locations that hold fair concentrations include: offshore the NW end of Cleveland Lakefront Nature Preserve, offshore East 55th marina, the harbor off Wendy Park, offshore Edgewater Park. Higher numbers to the west: off Lakewood Park, Rocky River Park and Huntington. Merganser numbers are low, and scoters are scattered and occasional (one Black Scoter off Lakewood Park today headed east).
No Little Gull sightings nor jaegers, yet.
