Hi Everyone,

I’ve been building some slides of common feeder and backyard birds that will assist with presentations that we will be giving to senior centers in the Northeast Ohio area this winter. They contain identification tips, interesting facts about the species, range maps and some video clips. Each week on our Facebook page we will be featuring a certain species with each slide. If you aren’t into the Facebook thing, but would like to still view the weekly presentations, I will be updating our website each week with the information as well.

Also, I know a lot of you enjoy taking photos of our feathered friends, so for a bit of fun during the winter months we will be having a photo contest as well. Photos of your feeder/backyard birds can be submitted via our Facebook page, or on email to [log in to unmask] There will be a small, monthly prize for the winner too!

I hope that you find the slides fun & useful. Also please send any suggestions for improving them.

Happy Birding,
Kurt
