It was very windy and rough on the lake. There were a fair number of gulls
flying, but it was down compared with the last several days. Of note were 2
black-legged kittiwakes that were each heading solo to the west. There were
a decent number of mergansers and other waterfowl with a group of surf
scoters being of note. There were a lot of horned grebes flying by. I was
able to see one eared grebe on the water.
