Well, we traveled over half the state looking for 4 lifers between
us....came out with two. :-D
As I mentioned in an earlier post, the Black-legged Kitiwake put on a good
show for us this morning. Scanning the Listserv and Facebook posts, we
decided to take the "long way" to Columbus to catch the Red-throated Loon,
to follow up on reports of Ross and Snow Geese...zilch on all accounts.
The Honda wetlands held just regular geese. But I wouldn't be surprised if
they weren't at one of the other pond areas.
The Scottslawn Ross's Goose was absent...along with all the other
Geese...the whole area was void of waterfowl.
The Red-throated Loon at Griggs Dam was a awesome end to the day. Best
views were over at the boathouse though.
Well, time for bed. :-D
