At about 1230 today 18 December 2015 I located an Eared grebe at the New Galena boat ramp on Alum creek lake. The grebe was loosely associating with a flock of coots, 3 pied-billed grebes and a horned grebe. A diagnostic photo has been posted on the birding Ohio facebook page and on my eBird checklist. New Galena boat ramp is located on the Southeastern corner of Alum creek lake in Delaware county.
