A year ago this bird spent lots of time at our feeders. At the time I
thought it was an immature red tailed hawk. This month I believe the same
bird is back and is now mature. Looking at it and at last year's pictures,
I concluded that the tell-tail crescents on his wings in this picture would
have told me what it was if I had not been quick to think it was a
red-tailed. It is beautiful and so nice to see it so close. Comes very
frequently.
