Huron pier continues to offer some of the best gulling in the state right now. Yesterday (Saturday), 3 Thayer's Gulls, 2 Iceland Gulls and 13 Lesser Black-backed Gulls were pulled amidst hordes of Ring-billed and a large concentration of Herring Gulls, plus 30+ Great Black-backed Gulls. Today, Chuck S had two Iceland and a Thayer's. The sheer mass of birds is prime for rarities. The male Long-tailed Duck continues by the end of the pier and breakwall
