Mockingbirds are year around birds here in TX. {Our state bird} Since they are fruit and insect eaters and most of their food [in Ohio] is covered with snow or likely frozen, one can offer sliced grapes, soft raisins, blueberries, live mealworms or apple halves to supplement their diet. And yes, they are very territorial guarding ”their” berries against hoards of Cedar Waxwings is too funny to watch!
