My brother and I were driving on Union City- Beamsville Road close the to
intersection of Detling Road. This is southwest of Ansonia.
There was an adult Bald Eagle flying low over the fields and then would fly
higher. It actually flew very low very near our stopped car.

also, in the northern part of the county birds we saw were:
bluejays
tree sparrows
juncos
wh. br. nuthatch
titmouse
downy,
redbelly woodpecker
flicker
bluebirds
golden crowned kinglets
goldfinch
starlings
housesparrows
redtail hawks
kestrel
Cooper's hawk
Cardinals
horned larks
