I birded the Lake Erie Bluffs in Lake County for a couple hours. There was a nice variety of birds along the Bluffs Trail west of Lane Road. There were basically two large groups of birds, in the northeast and western sections of the trail, with little in between. The only bird of note was a gray catbird that was at the far west end of the trail.

There were a modest number of ducks and gulls on the lake. Of note was a female long-tailed duck sitting out on the lake, a common loon, and two horned grebes.
