Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in the northeast corner of Columbus off
of I 270 and Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit

Below is a list of some of the Birds seen in the last week

     Thoreau Lake
       A Black Duck
       Mallard
       Green-winged Teal
       N Shoveler
       Gadwall
       Hooded Merganser
       Red-tailed Hawk
       Turkey Vulture

  Lake Trail
       Woodpeckers
          Red-headed
          Pileated
          Hairy
          Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
          N Flicker
          Downy
          Red-bellied
      Yellow-rumped Warbler
      E Bluebird

  Goldenrod Trail
       Yellow-rumped Warbler
       Red-shouldered Hawk
       Pine Siskin
       E Bluebird

 Nature Center Bird Viewing Area
       Cooper's Hawk-An adult and young are hunting in this area
       Sparrows
         White-throated
         A Tree
         Song
         Dark-eyed Junco
     Carolina Wren

   Barred Owl
        Seen on Goldenrod Trail-2nd loop
        Heard on Lake Trail-by pipeline cut


  Brookside Trail-top of hill by bench-American Beech-possible Pileated
Woodpecker cavity

  Turkeys-Over 100 Turkeys in this park. Flocks of 30+ can be seen
      Bird Feeders are a great place to find these Birds
