The Wendy Park Black-headed Gull has not been relocated and is assumed to have departed. The numbers of Bonaparte's Gulls present have dropped from 5,000+ to less then 200. Overall, gull numbers have dwindled. Waterfowl diversity and numbers are starting to rise, very slowly.

A stunning White-winged Scoter was in the harbor just off of Wendy Park and off the old coast guard station. Eared Grebe was absent there today.

What is likely the same adult basic Laughing Gull that set up shop Nov & Dec at East 55th was found today by Bill Ohlson at East 72nd street, as well as an Eared Grebe.

A Snowy Owl continues at Burke Lakefront Airport today, viewed from Gate 9, fide Bill Deininger.

The female King Eider continues off Sim's Park in Euclid, fide Natalie Schroder.
