Hi all,
I hit several spots in Delaware county this morning. The Panhandle road wetlands were packed with waterfowl including large numbers of Pintail and Wigeon. The most interesting bird was a male hybrid Eurasian X Common Wigeon. The bird was most similar to a Eurasian wigeon, however it had lots of tan color on the sides and back and a significant amount of green around and behind eye. Very reddish at the back of the head. Distance and going in and out of cattails/trees prevented a pic. It was very similar to the top hybrid illustrated in Sibley (see attached). The bird was with a bunch of wigeon in the southeast corner of the wetland. 

Next, a stop at the Columbus upground reservoir retention ponds (of Reddish Egret fame) revealed a significant amount of waterfowl on the pond on Mooney Rd. Of note were a single Ross's Goose and 12 Greater White-fronted Geese. All in all today's birds made the early morning and cold worth enduring! Ebird checklists with some pics linked below:
