Sunday afternoon:

in the Flats - 10 black-crowned night herons (incl one immature) on opposite
river bank as viewed from the (closed) Eagle Ave bridge, Scranton Rd.
same location where we saw 4 last year.  Also 200 red-breasted
mergansers, one redhead, several ruddy and scaup.

Perk Park - ovenbird, Lincoln sparrow, many white-throated
sparrows (thanks for these tips!)

again missed the Burke airport snowy owl.
