This afternoon, there were 21 Snow Geese, including 3 Blue Morph Snow Geese, mixed in with a large flock of Canada Geese on the Shelly Wildlife Habitat Site lake with the Osprey platforms in it. This lake is located on the south side of Gene Cox Memorial Drive, between Dresden and Adams Mills, in NE Muskingum County. They were at the very southern end of the lake. A scope is essential for decent looks, depending upon the sun angle. My wife, Diane, will post a long distance picture tonight on Birding Ohio Facebook showing all 3 goose types in the same shot.
