At 1:00 this afternoon, there were 4 Sandhill Cranes and about 20 Canada Geese in the corn field located just north of the intersection of SR 586 and Canal Road. The field is in a "y" formed by this intersection. This is about 1 mile north of the intersection of SR 586 and SR 146 in NE Muskingum County. Viewing from SR 586 is difficult because of traffic and no good pull offs.
