I stopped at several places along Blacklick Creek this snowy morning, starting with Blacklick Woods MetroPark, mostly birding near feeders since I guessed that birds would concentrate there. As you can tell from the subject line, it was not a very exciting day. None of the feeders at Blacklick Woods or elsewhere had much out of the ordinary. The ponds at Blacklick Woods and at Blacklick Ridge Park held only Mallards. The trails at Blacklick Woods did have 2 Pileated woodpeckers, and the road west of the Nature Center had 2-3 Bluebirds and a small flock of Yellow-rumped Warblers working the roadside.
