  Blendon Woods Metro Park is located in the northeast corner of Columbus
off of I 270 & Rte 161. Take the Little Turtle Way exit. Below is a list of
some of the Birds seen in the last week.

      Thoreau Lake
        Green-winged Teal
        American Wigeon
        Ring-necked Duck
        Lesser Scaup
        Greater Scaup
        E Towhee-female
        Redheads
        Gadwalls


      Nature Center
        Cooper's Hawk
        Hairy Woodpecker-male & female
        A Tree Sparrow
        White-throated Sparrow
        Carolina Wren
        Yellow-rumped Warbler

    Lake Trail
        Red-tailed Hawk
        Pileated Woodpecker
        Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
        Yellow-rumped Warbler

    Turkeys-everywhere
          Bird Feeders
            Nature Center
            East Blind-Thoreau Lake
            Ranger Station
            Picnic areas
