Throughout the state multiple reports poured in today of high numbers of both Snow and and Greater White-fronted Geese along with scattered Ross's Geese--- a movement spawned by recent weather combinations erupting from the south and Midwest. One of the highest totals came from Mosquito Lake in Trumbull County where Larry Richardson had 120 Snow Geese and 30 Greater White-fronted Geese as well as several Ross's Geese at this Trumbull County site. Ethan Kistler reports: take Mahan-Denman road All the way to the east where it ends at the waters edge and scope thoroughly through the hundreds upon hundreds of geese in the middle of the lake.

Dave Clark II had 5 Greater White-fronted Geese fly in off Lake Erie at Huron harbor this afternoon in Erie County.

The 16 Ross's Geese found yesterday by Donna Kaminski at Lorain Impound were not present today.

A Ross's Goose at Chagrin River Park in Lake County yesterday was not found today.

Remarkably, John Petruzzi and Jeff Harvey found 100 Snow Geese and 50 Greater White-fronted Geese in Mahoning County today at a half frozen lake along Western Reserve Road in Beaver Township.

Scott Myers had 40 white geese on a frozen farm pond of US 30 on the Putnam/Allen County Line.

Kent Miller had 26 Snow and 4 Ross's Geese put down near his property in Stark county.

Bennie Saylor found a Greater White-fronted Goose with Canada Geese on Reeder Road at Walborn Reservoir.
