While driving south on Dublin Rd. (745) today around 2:00pm I was south of
Home Rd. and north of Cook Rd. in Delaware county when I noted a large
number (est. 250-300) of water fowl on the east side down in the
old quarry.
I did have my scope and binocs with me but will confess am still a newbie
and at my present best noted:
Redheads approx 50
Greater Scaups approx 40
Canvasbacks 6
Ring-necks approx 50
1 Tundra Swan
American Coots approx 40
A few Cackling Goose mixed in with Canada Geese
Mallards approx 50
