         Sunday we had a Bird hike at Rocky Fork. At the back end of the
North Meadow Trail we observed a female Harrier Hawk hunting. We also saw
it fly beyond the trees to the meadow beyond.

         Below is a list of some of the Birds seen

          North Meadow Trail
             Harrier Hawk-female
             Sharp-shined Hawk-perched in tree in meadow
             Dark-eyed Juncos
             Mallards
             Gadwall
             Red-winged Blackbirds
             C Grackles
             Red-tailed Hawk-adult
             E Bluebirds-4
             A Tree Sparrows

                   Blendon Woods Metro Park
                       Nature Center
